A Halloweeny Family Home Evening

We had Clint and Katie and the little boys up for Family Home Evening.  Corgin and I made some Halloween cookies.  He was pretty good at cutting them out.
When they were done, it was time for the decorating...
All the cookies looked pretty good, but they tasted even better!
The Wright family and Karen Whitier came to eat and play with us also.  We had our usual grilled cheese and tomato soup...along with baked apples and apple cider.  Then it was time to carve the pumpkins.

Janelle and Corgin had great plans for thier Jack-o-lantern.

Katie was really concentrating on her intricate design.

Corgin with his and Janelle's masterpiece.  He was trying to look just like the pumpkin.

Toni and Karen enjoying the cookies.  Karen was the designer for mine and Corgin's pumpkin!
This is mine, with a little help from Karen's design, and Brent's de-gutting.
Brent was a pretty good sport to dress for the occasion!
Linkoln was just having fun watching!

Looks like a FUN family home evening. I hope your apple dessert turned out good.
We had FHE here tonight -- had early Church History stories by Dad and pumpkin (squash) pies by Mom. 12 in attendance.
